One of the promenades along the shore of the Inner Harbour at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Very popular the year round with both locals and visitors. The marina also enjoys continuous usage.

What a beautiful place that is! Does the ferry still run from there to Port Angeles?

  • Yes, it’s got to be one of the most beautiful harbours in the world, even though it’s very small. The Port Angeles ferry (the COHO) is in the background of this photo, left of centre. It blends into the buildings somewhat. Still going strong, don’t recall ever hearing of her missing a trip in the 21 years I’ve been here.

Good lord! Does the COHO still float? It was looking old when I left thirty years ago!

  • Yep, she made her first sailing in December 1959, still going strong. Guess that’s what good maintenance does!
