Waterton Lakes National Park, tucked away in the extreme southwest corner of Alberta, Canada, is the smallest of the Rocky Mountain National Parks, but many consider it the most beautiful. It’s the Canadian part of the International Peace Park, made up of Waterton in Alberta, and Glacier Park in the United States. This view is looking south towards the USA end of the Lake. The park has two UNESCO designations, as a World Heritage Site and a Bio-Sphere Reserve. In addition, it’s also the centrepiece of the National Geographic Society project called the “Crown of the Continent”.
It’s probably the least-travelled of Alberta’s great chain of parks, but many people consider it to be the most stunning and spectacular.

Hi Irene, very many thanks my friend, it’s an honour to be featured!
Love this one as well George. The colour and composition is right on!
Many thanks Phil, I took quite a few earlier under cloudy and dull skies but then the sun came out and did them all over again. The far end of the lake unds up in Montana. We took the boat tour the next day and got a lot of nice shots. That was at the RB meet and greet thing.
