But not until the water gets a bit warmer! During a wander across Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, we took back roads and crossed the island from coast to coast, through roads “less traveled”, and came across this campground at Lizard Lake, about 25 km. from Port Renfrew on the Pacific Ocean shore. The picnic tables were all ready, so was the dock, but no people. An isolated but peaceful and pristine wilderness hideaway.

This is great, I have been there myself but it was very quiet then but not this quiet, great capture, I added a shot of Cape Scott to mine this week, Ann

  • Hi Ann, good to know we’ve been to the same place..it was a nice day, but cold. Weather has been very unsettled this spring. I hope you saw the huge Sitka Spruce at Harris Creek? Just looked at Cape Scott, you did very well to get that close, it’s pretty rough country. It was a great shot, the gods of sunlight were good to you..lol!
