The Birches is a colonial-style country inn located about 15 minutes south of Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. The tiny community of Ben Eoin (from the Scottish Gaelic for “mountain of the birds”) also encompasses a ski hill, and a park, overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes.
