The Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, stretch up the western side of the province, bordering on the Pacific Ocean. Having a mild climate almost year-round, and a liberal dose of rain off the ocean, the mountains have huge areas of forests, a great array of peaks and valleys, and some wonderful cloud formations at most times of the year.
This scene was taken just a few miles inland from Howe Sound, with a Sony DSCF828 camera.
August 29, 2005.
