An evening fishing or boating trip in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia,Canada, always yields some nice images. In this one, the sun is setting behind Salt Spring Island, the largest of the southern Gulf Islands, about 5 miles off the town of Sidney on Vancouver Island’s south east coast. This one is straight out of the camera, taken June 16, 2009 with a Fuji S100FS.

Thanks again Sean..I was really happy with that water. Usually by that time it’s a lot darker colour, but it was a very clear sky and the reflection stayed quite bright, really lovely.
