I’m not an expert by any means, but I think this moose is fairly young.He’s still a big fellow, and perhaps a little cautious about people pointing strange little things at him. We came across him on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Nova Scotia, Canada. The park contains a spectacular variety of scenery and is one of the outstanding tourist attractions of Canada.

Great capture and find George……yes he is a young one but still they are huge !!
They sure are! We’ve found some on every trip to C.B. but I think this one was the biggest. Would have liked to see him in a clearing with his legs showing.

Great shot, George. I’m always amazed at the size of these guys. We had a young cow in the fields near work for a couple of days quite a few years back and we could get quite close. Got quite a few shots of the beautiful girl!
