Maligne Lake, in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, is one of the most famous and beautiful lakes to be found anywhere in the world. But to me, the array of mountains surrounding the lake were at least as beautiful, if not more so. They are all part of the Rocky Mountains. I suppose each of them has a name, but I have been unable to find such a list, and even if I did, matching the name to those in a photo would be hard. These two peaks were very prominent, and most of the afternoon were hidden by clouds, but for a short time the sun broke through and illuminated the slopes and cliffs in several places.
