This is Moose Lake, a beautiful glacial mountain lake which is in either Mt. Robson Provincial Park, or Jasper National Park, in the Canadian Rockies, Alberta, Canada. I’m not actually sure which park it’s in,but it was a delightful place to take a few shots. I expected that black tumult of clouds in the near distance to come along fast and produce a downpour, which had happened a few times earlier. But it remained stable and we stayed by the lake for at least 30 or 40 minutes. By the way, it may look like I used HDR on this image, but not so. I have never used it. Our trip through the Rockies produced an amazing array of cloud and skyscapes.
