We didn’t really want storms when we decided to wander through the great chain of Rocky Mountain parks along the British Columbia/Alberta border (Canada), but the inclement weather proved to be something of a bonus. The drama and mood of the storm clouds, the stark rock peaks of the mountains and the ice sheets in the high valleys and crevasses, all combined to offer new and exciting images of the wilderness.
