There’s many “River Roads” in the world, and I doubt this particular one goes by that name, but it made a reasonable title! It’s a little country road beside the waters of the North Thompson River in south-central British Columbia,Canada, not far from Mount Robson Park. I think it probably leads to a farm or perhaps a ranch in the rural back-country. At this point, the river is calm and peaceful, a gently flowing stream which has wildly turbulent stretches along it’s course, and not too far from this place.

Taken Sept.3, 2009 with a DSCF 828 Sony camera.

Beautiful scene, George. I like the whisps of cloud on the mountainside – great added touch!

  • Thanks Mike, those misty clouds were coming and going all day,I really liked them because a little waiting brought a whole different perspective to the scene.

I really like this, George, the way the road looks like a separate but parallel stream fo the river.
    Good eye ! ;)

  • Thanks Stan..I thought the scene looked so peaceful and I was wondering what really was at the end of that little road. I pictured a nice country home and a great family enjoying it..hope I was right :)
