West Dover is a little fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, about 25 miles south of Halifax, on the Chebucto Peninsula. It’s on Route 333 (The Lighthouse Route) which connects to Route 3 and follows the coast all the way to the southernmost end of the Province. West Dover is a very pretty place to spend some time and indulge in wonderful seafood as well as enjoy the scenery and the quiet beauty of the village and the coastline. If you’re visiting Halifax, it’s only a short drive and you can spend the day exploring all the other little places along the way. Carry on Route 333 and make a circle back to Halifax.
