February 1982 was the first time I visited Vancouver and I spent my evenings doing a small tour of the city. This view was taken from Stanley Park and in the foreground is the Bayshore Marina, with office and apartment/condo towers in the background. The low sunlight reflecting off the glass gave nice highlights. Of course the skyline is a little different today, though most of these buildings are the same..only more of them!
Taken with an Exakta Varex 35mm.camera and high-speed Ektachrome film. F 2.0 Biotar lens. Exposure data lost in the mists of time.
Scanned in 2004 with a Canoscan 4000UD scanner.

A superb shot George the lighting is perfect at that time of day x

  • Thanks Irene, appreciate the comment. On that visit, evenings were my only time to wander around and luckily the west coast rain stayed away for a few days :)
