November 2,2006, in Eastern Ontario, Canada. We ran into a nasty storm which I’ve shown in a couple of previous postings (see Darkness and Light and Touchdown!) \The storm was moving quite fast and this shot was taken through the open side window of our Outback, which was rocking a bit on the undercarriage as the gusts of wind and rain pummeled it. At times the cornfield was laying down quite flat but it was also when a blast of rain hit, so no pictures of that!
Taken with a Sony DSCF828 camera.

Three cheers for the Sony! What it great shot it – and you!! – have taken here. That is every photographer’s dream sky with just a hint of the sun’s rays shining through yet, at the same time, it’s telling us that all hell is going to be let loose any minute now!! A cracker mate! Peter

Hi Peter, and many thanks for the kind comments. I can’t claim any skill at composition or anything here, the storm was moving so fast all I did was fire away, but I did get some decent shots. There were some that were just washed out by the downpour( oh God, that’s a but there were some lucky clear breaks and this was one of them.Glad you liked it!
