This is a follow-up to “Capstick,Cape Breton Island” which I posted a few days ago. Slightly different viewpoint, showing more of the autumn colours in the hardwoods along the hills. A few houses are strung out along the road that eventually gets to Meat Cove and ends, The bushes in the foreground are the “guardrail” so caution is advised if you want to get any closer to the edge.
A perfectly beautiful day in September 2006, with a calm Atlantic Ocean creating just a tiny bit of surf on the beaches.
