Awhile ago I posted “Rain on a Country Road” and I thought it would be nice to show the right-hand side of the road. The rain diminished and we had a bit of dim sunlight to brighten the autumn leaves. One of many back-country roads around Bear River, on the south coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. One of the oldest settlements in Nova Scotia, it was first occupied around 1600, and had a large influx of United Empire Loyalists after the American Revolution. Many of the homes and buildings are well over 100 years old.
