Closer Look at Low Tide by George Cousins

I thought it might be nice to see a closer look at how the fishing boats have to be propped up at low tide when the Bay of Fundy drains out of the harbours. The water recedes slowly enough to let them settle down on the bottom and the fishermen have enough time to get the supports jammed under the hulls.

  • Hi Steve, glad to bring back the memories. I’m from Cape Breton originally. I have quite a few from Parsboro and Five Islands area, just went wandering around there in 2007. Always go back to N.S. every year and get out along the byways with the camera. I’ll get some of them on here as soon as I can. Thanks for looking and commenting. Cheers!
