On previous postings I showed how the huge tides of the Bay of Fundy effect the lives of the people in the fishing villages on the shores of Nova Scotia. They showed you the high tide and mid-tide effects, and here is the low tide. The harbour waters have completely drained out to the Bay and the boats are high and dry, propped up so they won’t fall over on their sides. Since the timing of the tides advances about a half hour daily, so does the time that the folks can get in and out of the harbours and ply their fishing trade.
