November 2, 2006, nearing Manotick, Ontario, Canada. All the way across eastern Ontario we were dodging sudden rain showers, thunderstorms and intervals of bright sunny skies. But this one was right in our path and couldn’t be avoided. It gave us the chance for some images we might never have captured otherwise. See “Portrait of the Sun” for one of them. Sony DSCF828 camera.

ha ha. Thought this was the praries. You CAN sit and watch the weather change.
Good shot, George. You just look at this and wait for the buildings to be swollowed up by the rain.

  • Thanks Stan. Yep, eastern Ontario is pretty much flat as a pancake.I always found the prairies to be more rolling. That downpour did hit the buildings a few minutes later, I have some other shots of when it passed by. We just parked and sat through it.

  • This one was taken a few minutes before “The Changing Sky”, I also posted one called “Portrait of the Sun” a few days ago, which was somewhere in between. I still have a few more which I’ll post eventually. When it hit the car we were rocking a bit on the!
