Another of the Stations of the Cross on a hillside close to the Basilica of Saint Anne de Beaupre, north of Quebec City, Canada. At the time I took this, on a rainy day in 1954, there were 14 such “stations”, and I believe this is still the same today. As a tableau, they depict the final passion of Christ and the crucifixion. The figures are sculpted in metal and are very detailed.
Taken with an Exakta Varex 35mm SLR and scanned at 4000 dpi with a Canoscan 4000US scanner.
