I didn’t have far to go to find a snowy country road. Middle of December 2008, at the end of my driveway I found someone had managed to get down the road already. Rural North Saanich, British Columbia, after a very unusual snowfall.Fuji S100fs camera.

Lovely winter shot George – very pretty.

  • There was almost 30cm. of new snow on top of my mailbox..lol. We usually get maybe 5 cm. the whole year in this area. It almost broke the all-time record. But you’re right, when the sun came out is was beautiful.

love this one, we have about one cm of snow in winnipeg and I get pleasure from viewing your photo

  • LOL! I’m sure you do, Nora! Well, I’m a Maritimer and I’ve also lived in Winnipeg a long time ago, so you won’t find me making fun of the rest of Canada! In fact, I’ve been here 20 years and we have had snow every year, here in the Victoria area. Just had some a couple of days ago..haha! But glad you enjoyed the photo!
