At this time, the word “road” was a bit academic. Yes it was there, but a bit tricky to navigate. After a record snowfall on Southern Vancouver Island,British Columbia, Canada, a few vehicles had broken trail and this was what I found as I headed out to the nearest Ma and Pa store for milk and eggs! Gorgeous shot! I love snow like that, it is a challenge.
Thanks Al, it certainly was a challenge in an area that normally gets almost no snow at all, therefore, very little snow removal equipment..!

This looks like the kind of winter day you can actually enjoy.
Nice shot, George.
Thanks Stan, the snow was very wet and heavy, but it actually was a very nice day.

Wow George this is a lot of snow …. you’re freezing and we are sweltering in 40C degree heat.
Oh Bev, I could never take 40C heat! Anything over 25 I try to avoid..lol.
This was the biggest snowfall here since 1996, and the second biggest on record. Normally we only get a couple of centimeters all year in the Victoria area.

Tricky perhaps when you have to travel on this road by car… but it does have the inviting look for a wonderous walk.. beautifull.
Thank you Liesbeth, I’m glad you liked it.Yes, it was very beautiful to walk in, I had an enjoyable several hours taking photos.

Hi Ruth, good to hear from you again.. I just entered the challenge..been really busy here and I’m way behind on keeping current with RB!. Winter is my time to do all the things I put off when the weather is great outside, so it’s been catch-up time for me..lol!
