Ocean storms always fascinate me. This was on Oct.21, 2006 as an Atlantic gale hit the coast of Nova Scotia south of Halifax. A mixture of wind, fog, heavy clouds and rain added to the strong on-shore swells and surf. Biggest problem was keeping my balance and the camera dry.

Had to look twice to see that wasn’t a big wave coming.
Glad YOU were there, George, cause I probably would have been sitting in a nice warm, cozy room. LOL.
After about 2 hours of this I was pretty cold and wet myself, but there’s a fabulous seafood restaurant just about a mile from that spot. Great place to recuperate..lol.

George I love this one – there is so much in this image and I just love the way you have captured the ocean.
Thanks Bev. I really love ocean storms, getting wet and cold means nothing compared to the joy of being there.
