These folks really wanted a good shot of the surf at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, September 2006.They succeeded, I hope, because they also were a bit wet just after I took this shot. At this point the level of the Atlantic Ocean was about 30 feet down from the edge of the rocks, but there were huge swells rolling in from a windy day and the surf was really beautiful.

I was watching them as they kept getting closer and closer, and I figured there would be a really good boomer at any second, so I took a short series and this one caught the biggest burst.
