Atlantic Pea Soup by George Cousins

Canvas Prints

$71.50

July 20, 2008, at 4.00 in the afternoon. When you’re this close to the lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, and this is as much as you can see, you are in an Atlantic pea soup fog. At the height of the tourist season, and nary a soul in sight. This sort of fog gradually saturates your clothing, it’s so close to being rain. So we all go indoors and have a great down-east seafood chowder or whatever.

Probably not a great idea to wander too far over the other side, either!
    Good foggy shot.

  • Oh yes, it’s pretty easy to slip off the rocks when the fog makes them wet and slippery. You’ve been there yourself, so you know what I mean. Really like your B&W of the place. Thanks for the comment.
