After a very nasty snow and ice storm, I took this photo in the small town of Maple, just north of Toronto, Ontario. The day was beautiful, but cold, and the snow and ice had not started to melt. Beautiful sight, but hazardous driving!
Taken with a 35mm. Exakta Varex SLR, 50mm Biotar lens, and probably Kodachrome film ASA 10. The time was January, 1959. The slide was scanned in 2004 at 4000 dpi with a CanoScan 4000US scanner.

    wow! looks gorgeous!

  • Thanks Selina, despite the cold and bad driving, an ice storm really does look very beautiful when the sun comes out.
