In 1954, I was part of a survey crew in Northern Quebec, Canada, and this waterfall was a short hike from our camp. The fishing at the base of the falls was fantastic. The only way to get here was by seaplane, landing on the lake this stream flowed into. All of this is gone forever, buried underwater in the La Grande Reservoir, part of a Hydro Quebec power project. What nature creates, man destroys.
