Heading farther West, we were between Swift Current, Saskatchewan,Canada, and the Alberta border, when this line squall looked a bit menacing. We’d had light snow flurries earlier in this cross-Canada trip,as you can see in the grass, but this time nothing much happened. November 9, 2006. We always like to drive the prairies, they have a life of their own, ever changing, and far from being the flat monotonous landscape that many people imagine.

  • Hi Teresa, and many thanks. We were quite enchanted on that trip across the prairies, once in August and again in early November..the seasonal changes were quite wonderful!
