I’ve seldom seen people come this prepared for a tourist shot, but bringing along a lawn chair was probably worthwhile. I’ve no idea of the symbolism of the pointed finger. Taken one evening at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, with a fog bank just offshore in the Atlantic, and nice sunshine on land.
Sony DSCF828 camera.

That’s actually quite comical.
Maybe they were pointing at the lighthouse?
I suppose it made sense from the photog’s POV.
lol:)))) what a good idea, a chair to shoot everything from almost the same angle and not get tired:) lol
So funny!! Awesome shot George!
Maybe the guy is saying, are you framing the sky in too?lol
Hi Tereza,
Glad you liked the shot. I really admired the guy for having the chair, especially since he had a long hike over the rocks to get to that spot. I watched them for quite awhile and it was quite funny. She had amazing patience, as she kept striking various poses. I took a few shots of them but I liked the finger at the sky best of all..LOL!
