And it really was all his, for awhile. This lone seagull perched on a rock in the solitude of one of the salt marshes along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. For awhile I shared the utter silence of the scene in late October 2006.The overcast and still waters seemed to bring a sense of oncoming winter, yet I could have spent a very long time in this place.
