Brandywine Falls
Brandywine Falls Provincial Park is located on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, bordered on the west side by the Sea To Sky Highway 99 from Vancouver to Whistler. The park is about 7 miles (11 km) south of Whistler. The park is 143 hectares and there is a short walking trail leading from the parking lot to an observation platform at the top of the falls. The beautiful 70 metre waterfall is best seen from this viewpoint, which also gives you lovely views of Daisy Lake and the surrounding Coast mountains.
This park, and others along the highway, provide excellent day trips from Vancouver, with plenty of time to picnic, walk the trails and also spend some time along the way to visit some of the small towns like Britannia Beach and Squamish, and learn of the history of the region.
Taken August 29, 2005 with a Sony DSCF828 camera.

A lovely shot George , looks like a great place. x
George Cousins replied
Hi Irene, it’s a very pretty spot. There are several such waterfalls and parks along that road, I have some of another place called Shannon Falls, which is much different and I’ll post one from there shortly. Glad you liked this one.
Mike Oxley
Absolutely beautiful shot, George and great info. What a gorgeous location. Should have tried your hand at a long exposure, too!
George Cousins replied
Thanks Mike. It’s a really pretty place and not far off the highway, well kept park and camp grounds. I’d only had the Sony for a few months at that time and never occured to me to try the long exposure. Would have made the falls look a lot different.
