A container ship of Hanjin Shipping (South Korea) outward bound from Vancouver, British Columbia. The ship is in the ship channel between Canada and the USA in the Strait of Georgia, off the east coast of Vancouver Island.The islands in the background are part of the San Juan group in Washington State. Taken in the evening just before sunset,from waters off Pender Island, British Columbia, June 17, 2009.

    Hi Sean, and thank you. I always try to take the camera along when we go boating or fishing, there’s often a photo-op that just comes along out of nowhere :) I really liked that lighting myself and it did come out nicely.

    Hi Randall..yes, she’s pretty well loaded. Though sometimes we see those ships piled so high you wonder why they don’t capsize!

    Thanks Mike..the evening light was really nice, I was going to just take a shot of the islands, when this ship came in sight and made the perfect centrepiece :)
