Just One more Shot
In mid-October 2005, at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. A strong Atlantic storm presented great opportunities for really good ocean pictures. This man and his young daughter were doing the same as I was, trying for the best shots as the storm built up. At this stage, the young gal decided that wind and flying spray were not her cup of tea, so she took refuge behind one of the granite boulders while Dad braved the edge of the cliff and I captured them both. But we all had a fun time! Sony DSCF828 camera.

Bev Woodman
Great shot George – I love the look of the ocean … and I love the humour you have captured too.
George Cousins replied
It was a fun day, he was trying for the same shots as I was, but the girl wasn’t very enthusiastic! Don’t think ocean storms are quite at the top of her favourites!
Stan Wojtaszek
Great shot, George !!
Congrats on the feature, as well.
George Cousins replied
Thanks Stan, for both. Didn’t know I had the feature until awhile ago. Trying to untangle this new format on RB,I think there’s some major glitches still there.
Della McMullan
congrats on the feature…those are some big swells there!
George Cousins replied
Hi Della, and thank you! Yep, October storms at Peggy’s can be pretty wild, this one got a lot worse but the rain came in sheets and made it hard to keep the camera dry so went for a next scallop dinner instead..LOL!
Della McMullan
lol …last time I was there I ate lobster every chance I could…morning, noon and night…I actually couldn’t look at it for awhile after that…too much of a good thing lesson comes to mind…lol
Hey I quickly popped by your moose picture on the Cabot Trail…great shot of the big guy…Love the Cabot Trail another beautiful Nova Scotia drive…
