Hello to everyone. I’m Canadian,born and raised in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia,with a long career in radar,communications,and computers.Retired at 74. Scion of a Grand Banks schooner captain and a merchant mariner,I love the ocean. I started using 35mm.color in 1950.Favourite camera was an Exakta Varex.Switched to digital around 1998. Favourites are sailing ships, ocean liners, the sea, forest,mountains..maybe just say “nature”. With one son on Vancouver Island and another in Nova Scotia, I try to spend equal time on both coasts. Some years past I wrote articles for a number of magazines, illustrating them with my own photos. I love photographing the things that are dear to me. I hope some of you will get some enjoyment from my efforts. Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome.
