A Wave

A wave across the sea
Eating caviare and sipping tea
Turbulence jumpy as stamina
All captured on camera

A journey aboard a boat
Happy it remains afloat
Transferred in a castle moat
Life jacket rather than coat

Expansive like a beach
Rough and smooth in reach
Rounded like a peach
Threatening to breach

Arriving in the port
Seeing a new resort
Momentos to export
As holiday is about

All aboard for journey home
A sad time to be alone
In the emotional zone
Sitting by the phone

A relationship for all to see
On a holiday so carefree
Disenchanted I was to be
Rejected, disillusioned insecure me.
