Lovely work George
Thankyou Donna, we’ve had a lot of rain where I live recently and this is yet another example of the inspiration to be found in nature
– George Coombs
This beautiful rain you describe is what we need here so desperately at the moment. Lots of bird song in the forest but the pond is drying out to an alarmingly small puddle, barely big enough for the tadpoles and birds and wildlife that use it. I hope the rain you so beautifully described makes it to us. And yes, it is “good to pause ….. be still” in the life that is “truly here”, even without the rain in my case :)
Thankyou so much for your insights on this piece Alenka, nature is such a wonderfully constant source of inspiration I find.
I have trouble quieting my mind, which makes me miss out on many of nature’s gifts. Still…I try. A beautiful moment captured with your words. xoxoxooxxo

Very descriptive of rain. Thank-you for sharing your lovely poem with Mustard Seeds, George. Very much appreciated.
“Has rain a father?Or who has begotten the drops of dew? From whose womb comes the ice?And the frost of heaven who gives it birth? The waters harden like stone,And the surface of the deep is frozen.”(Job 38: 29-30)
Thankyou so mch
