Andrew Leighton
Very nicely done, that’s a great looking shot. :)
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you Andrew. It is a beautiful place at this time of year but doesn’t last for very long. Once the tree canopy fills in and the flowers fade it becomes quite a dark, brooding place.
maremarie
Excellent work! Beautiful tones :-)
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you maremarie
colorstorm
Wow.. beautiful shot. Really like how those colors look together.
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you. If the colours are inverted you get green flowers and blue trees. The green and blue are almost perfectly complimentary.

Congrats on having this charming image featured. It really is a splendid scene. Regards, Ron.
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you Ron, It is one of my favourite images, my only regret is that it was taken with a second generation Nikon Coolpix so the file size limits its use.
AnnDixon
This is so very beautiful, also CONGRATS on being featured, well deserved,

Thank you for your kind comments.
Chris Tarling
Wow – that is a fabulous picture. Great mood you’ve caught there!
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you Chris. I have taken hundreds of shots in Dockey Wood over the years but never repeated the quality of the light that morning.
lorilee
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you Lorilee. Bluebells are such a typical part of the British woodlands at this time of year. We are fortunate that our climate suits this flower so well.
IngridSonja
Superb shot! Tried to get one this year but weather wasn’t good.
Geoff Spivey replied
Thank you Ingrid, There was a particularly pleasant light that morning. Dockey Wood is enjoyed by a large number of people in the short time the Bluebells are in flower – too many on occasions – at weekends there is sometimes an ice cream van in attendance!
