I live in Winnipeg Canada but that has not always been the case. I have lived in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. My parents are from Ontario. I lived for a year in Piedmont Italy.

From when I was a child I have always been drawn to the visual arts. While I was in Fine Arts in university, my interest shifted from drawing to photography.

WHAT I USE
My Body is a Nikon D300 camera body. Before that Panasonic DMC-FZ50. My old cameras; Nikon Coolpix S4 6mp and Kodak EZshare 5mp. Before that I used and still have twin Nikon EMs from my University days.

My Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 is my favorite.

Macro photography
55 Micro-Nikkor f2.8 Prime Manual Focus 2:1 ratio. Raynox Close-Up Attachment and Kenko Extension Tubes to achieve greater magnification.

I have added a Tamron sp AF Di 90mm 1:2.8 Macro
and a Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 35mm 1:1.8G

I use the Manfrotto 190MF3 tripod with the Manfrotto 488 RC2 Ball Head.
