This shot was taken in The Water Run on the Coastal Walk in Royal NP just south of Sydney Australia. It was a wild and stormy evening and the sun just started to emerge from the clouds behind me as it was setting. The blue tint to the water comes for a very short period around sunset – you can just see it in any moving water at this time in the right light but the camera really picks it up.
Love the turbulence of the water you have captured here Geoff. Its kind of got an ominous feel to it… as if, you turn your back for a second and those waves will have you.
You are spot on about those sneaky waves Rhana – a few times they came right over where I took this from but luckily at those times I was out of dunking range taking shots from a different angle lol. Sharon, roy and Michael – thank you.
Geoff What a powerful statement for a photograph simply superb This capture is something special i love way the spay looks like its closing in, this is sure to be a moment unforgettable, you have capture this beautifully
