First landscape post in a few months. This is a lovely section of rainforest in Royal National Park where I live. No matter how long the droughts we have this little enclave is always beautifully lush.
And yet a couple of kms up the road and you’re standing on a wild and windswept beach with constantly moving sand dunes. It really is an amazing neck of the woods. No little wonder it was established as the world’s second national park, almost at the same time as Yellowstone.
I’m working on a project with Kellie at the moment and this shot is one of the options for the background.
Softly magical and oh-so-beautiful…. This makes me want to grab my camera and go out shooting.
Heartfelt thanks for the inspiration Geoff.
Well hello my friend. Girl you know how to make a boy’s night with your comments – always so generous. There is nothing more flattering you can say to a photographer than that one of their images is inspiring. Thanks so much Rhana.
da da da daaaa!!! not a moment too soon i might say, mate this is just gorgeous, composition is really fantastic to the point of the feeling of being able to walk into it. It is wonderful how there are those odd places here and there that seem to remain so lush. Love the light all through the shot, great exposure. I’m happy to seem my fave landscaper posting again. Brilliant mate.
Awwrrr aren’t you a sweetie. Thanks so much mate. I kind of thought I’ve been off this profile so long people would have forgotten me but so many have written the most beautiful comments, just like you. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Have you heard about the LP gig yet?

Absolutely beautiful! Lush and green, and the orton effect really adds a magical atmosphere.

Cool Bananas Geoff:o)
…as opposed to warm? Had one today actually. A warm banana is truly crap whereas a cold one is magic so I’ll take that as a compliment. Thanks.
