I shot this deep into a winter dusk looking south to Wollongong from the Curracurrang in Royal NP. I love that moment when the eye can only see night but the camera on long exposure picks up the residual colours of sunset and twilight..

Another from the archives. It’s so much fun going over shots you took a couple of years ago and have forgotten. So many magic memories come alive.

You-da-master Geoff – I see all the subtleties mentioned and more. The atmosphere is so well captured you may as well be there by just looking at this photograph – kudos my friend!

  • Thanks Julian – rather fond of this one I have to say.

It is always wonderous to see what was actually there that the eye couldn’t pick up Geoff. The clouds look like a slow meteor trundling through the sky at a slow pace towards the light, bending as though its being steered under the watchful eye of the dotted pin prick like stars.

  • Damn but your are the king of comment givers Stuart – always so thoughtful and considered. Thanks heaps for this one.
