The bottom of the Upper Wattamolla Falls, Royal National Park.
Can’t decide between the colour and the b/w. If you look very carefully you can see an angel in the middle of the falls in the coloured version but it disappears in the b/w – my daughter spotted it and I couldn’t see it for ages and then it just popped out at me.
But I really like the contrast between the water and the rocks in the b/w so your feedback is most welcome
Geoff there is a reason you are my favorite photographer on here, you always produce nothing but pure class and every shot could be on your homepage, inspires me to clean out a lot of my so so shots and push myself to take better shots. This is no exception, the beautiful exposure is spot on and love the dream effect it gives, love the comp, and the angel in the colour one makes it the winner for me :)
Whoa you totally made my day with that comment mate – thanks SO much – can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
A very interesting perspective Geoff and it works well because it just makes you keep looking. Maybe it’s the eriee blue glow eminating behind the powerful forceful whites as the water serinades the rocks. Maybe it’s the contrast between the dark hard rocks and the angelicly lit (perfect title btw) water.
Maybe it’s both or some other undefinable element. Either ways – I like very much
wow Stuart – you give the BEST comments – thanks so much – can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time you take in your responses.

wonderful work geoff.. great delicacy and detail in the blue angelic one… but feel closer to getting splashed in the B&W with its immediacy…LOL
:))
What a great comment – thanks so much my friend.
