“Faith was Grace’s favourite friend – which was just as well as she was the only one left now.
Faith had said that she really, really liked being In too. But Grace knew she was just trying to be fair. Besides, Grace knew that no-one could be as quiet as she could. She knew this because in all the times she’d played Chasings no-one had ever found her. But it wasn’t much fun winning when you came out of hiding and everyone was gone. So Grace resigned herself to always being In.
But Grace had to admit that Faith was very, very good. She could be almost as silent as Grace herself….almost.”

Here the light plays a larger role than in the previous shot…...the “eeriness” of the figure on the left is astounding…..and you can certainly see the gaze and anticipation of the woman on the right – this is excellent work Geoff!

Thanks again Julian – the girls were just so good to work with and it was fun getting a different take on the orton effect.

Wow Geoff this is awesome, such a perfect and id imagine very difficult capture, i shoot bands sometimes and i know capturing the right expression just before the light changes and getting the exposure can be difficult. So bravo to you for getting such a perfect capture! Makes me want to see this too!

  • Geoff Coleman... replied

Thanks for your lovely comment Michael – yeah this sort of photography is way more difficult than landscape but as you’re creating it from scratch it’s also more satisfying in many ways.
