This field of flax lies just outside Canterbury,Kent,England. I was on the way to take my car into the garage, when I passed this beautiful field, full of blue flowers. I decided that I had to come back and get some photos. Flax is of course used in the production of fabrics such as Linen. Whereabouts just outside of Canterbury Geoff? Stunning field full of colour and the sunset’s superb.
Hi Stuart. As you drive from Sarre towards Canterbury, there is a roundabout with an industrial park on the left hand side. The field is to the right, just before the roundabout.

A superb shot with well balanced colour in spite of the sunset. Flax is a gorgeous crop.
Thanks Roger.
