I started my working life in a press agency called Central Press Photos. After learning my trade in Fleet Street, I moved into more commercial and architectual work. I have also spent many a saturday chasing from one wedding to another. These days I photograph anything that takes my eye.

Ooh Geoff. You shouldn’t take such intimate shots, you’ll embaress them. Seriously, really good shot, so much detail. Great. P.

  • Thanks Poverty. You can’t afford to be bashful with a camera in your hands!

Brilliant shot, though I’m not sure about the subjects – these look suspiciously like the evil American (Imperialist?) invaders that are outcompeting and killing off our native species.

  • Thanks for your comment Trobe. I did not realise that there was an American invader!

Geoff, these are native 7 spot ladybirds, NOT the Harlequin invader which is actually Asian. This spring has so far been wonderful for 7 Spots, very few Harlequins have been seen.
A lovely image of our favourite beetle

  • Hi Jesika, many thanks for the information and your comment :-)
