The blue umbrella
Shanghai is a juggernaut urban landscape of almost 20 million people. When it rains suddenly, grab your $1.50 umbrella from a friendly street vendor and hope that the pattern matches your accessories….in my experience it won’t.
In this photograph I wanted to show the utter greyness of the weather in contrast to the technician’s hastily acquired choice of shelter.
