graduated from film (including black and white processing at home many years ago) to a Canon G3, later Canon 400D, and more lately, added an old 1970’s film camera. Gets into the blood – that’s probably an understatement.
good way not to get sea sick, nice catch Geof !
thanks Karen – just enjoying each other’s warmth.
Wonderful capture!! Very warm image!!
very nice of you to comment, Tereza – Love is having someone to nap beside.
They are tourists … they took the ferry because the guidebook said so … they are cold … they wonder why they were too timid to take the long way via a ship registered in Croatia, which would have been more fun …Great capture !
hi Margot – nicely imagined, the reality was quite exciting though. They’d been among a group of us who walked into an active volcano, White Island, off the coast of New Zealand. No plumes of lava, but the potential was there. Fissures churn out clouds of noxious fumes which are acidic (or alkaline?) and sting the flesh. We had gas masks just in case, also hard hats. White Island last erupted about 100 years ago, killing a dozen or so sulphur miners who worked on the island.
Fantastic candid ! They looked so worn out and freezing cold : )
… and happy to be in each other’s company – thanks Pat.
