hehe ! this is great .. love the disgrunted bored expressions on their faces .. and that glass of vino dangling from her arm .. fabulous. about sums up life for many i think :D
Yeah, as someone at the exhibition said “they are not doing a very good job at keeping up appearances” : )
Her cupcake boobies and the couch have some enthusiasm but not much else.

i really, really LOVE this painting! it’s my absolute favourite of all your beautiful work. the colour, the contrasts of form – just perfect. and I love her indifferent lack of vulnerability, his boredom, the forgotten glass – and most of all, i love her pearls!

really interesting…I love their hands and the red is perfect. I think their hair is trying pretty hard and maybe if they weren’t naked they would be a bit more convincing but they pretty much give themselves away….anyway I don’t think anyone else is inside the picture to see them….only we know they are dismally failing at keeping up appearances
