great colour symbolism to capture pain – tortured sensitive image :)

  • Thanks so much for your comment. It’s nice to know some sensitivity can be seen in it.

I love your colors and the message.

  • Thank you so much for the fav and your great comment Lynn … Yes they are soft relaxing colours aren’t they .. not sure actually why I chose such colours for the theme of ‘pain’ … really glad you like it.

mm, i like this. U stopped painting at just the right point, which aint always easy.

  • So true, so important to know when to stop on certain parts of a painting/drawing and on a piece overall. I’ve stuffed a few things up with over-painting so I was glad I could hold back on this one. Thanks for the fav : )

    i missed this one
you do capture expressions really well genevieve
it has a strange translucent quality to it
    i like it alot

  • Thanks very much charlie, lovely to have you discover it. It was a rare process for me this one, I painted it quickly and it just flowed easily … that doesn’t happen for me very often. It was an experiment that I didn’t know would eventuate into a finished piece.
