Insatiable Sunday by Genevieve Robey

Insatiable Sunday by

Gouache paint.
May 2009.
The little specks are there because I was a bit too aggressive on the wrong surface (talking about painting here by the way) and the bits of paper started breaking up.

  • Thanks gemlenz … being able to get emotion into a picture is something I’ve been trying to achieve, so your comment means a lot to me.

    she’s moving!.. and I quite like it…. :-)

in the thumbnail, the depth of this one draws your attention immediately. the gap between the hand and face to give the impression of bright back-light is very good. “less is more”.. we all read it, but few do it

  • Really appreciate your considered comments on aspects of my work – it’s very helpful and also helps me see it in a new way too. Thanks very much chilby.
